Chances are, if you’re watching this video, you’ve just scanned my badge at your booth and you’ve sent me an email. I will most likely ignore that email and definitely delete that email and we probably won’t engage unless we had a really cool conversation that I remember on the floor.
So the recommendation that I have for you, when you aren’t prospecting and doing your Dreamforce follow up, is if the prospect that you’re targeting is an active content generator, and they’re active on social networks, a great tip I picked up from Jill Rowley at her session on social selling is to “amplify your prospect’s content.” Give them some social love. Go retweet, share, reply, quote, etc. Not only are you creating content for their interest, but they would appreciate the love if you amplified the content that they produce.
This is a great way to drive engagement; it’s a great way to break through the hundreds of emails that we are going to be getting here following up from Dreamforce.
